Jeremy L. Schulman
President & CEO
Jeremy L. Schulman practices his trademark style of economic development diplomacy and hybrid brand of planning, economic development and destination management as President and CEO of Rockland Economic Development Corporation. He has over 20 years of experience in county, city and currently non-profit settings creating a business environment that provides companies, not-for-profits and centers of commerce with the right tools for balanced growth. With a progressive vision to make Rockland the number one destination for corporate investment and jobs in the Hudson Valley, Jeremy has identified and branded distinct industry clusters and helped dozens of companies relocate, renovate and retool in Rockland through innovative place-making strategies, public-private partnerships and asset capitalization. He is a certified planner (AICP) who earned a B.A. in History from Brandeis University and an M.S. in Tourism Management from NYU’s Tisch Center for Hospitality and Tourism.
Phyllis W. Tucker
Director of Operations & Marketing
Phyllis has been with REDC since April, 2014. In her role, she is responsible for the overall administration, daily operations and marketing of the organization, including the interpretation and implementation of its mission. Phyllis facilitates the planning and directing of marketing for promoting Rockland County as a prime business location and manages all aspects of communications for REDC’s programs and services. Phyllis's previous positions were in the area of government, having worked for two NYS Senators and Rockland County Executive.
Executive Assistant, REDC
Jayne has been with the REDC for the past 20 + years. She is experienced in all aspects of administrative duties including scheduling, organizing and coordinating meetings of REDC Board of Directors.. She also maintains a database of Rockland County companies, including the generation of an annual update of Top Employers in Rockland County. Jayne plays a pivotal role in the solicitation of both Journal Ads and ticket purchases for REDC’s annual awards luncheon, the major fund raising event.
PTAC Program Director
As Program Director and a Certified Procurement Professional, Lin manages the day to day operations and compliance of the Procurement Technical Assistance Center for Rockland Economic Development Corporation. In addition, she provides counseling to her clients assisting them in navigating the process of doing business with government entities at the municipal, state and federal levels. Lin is available to speak about the PTAC program and various government procurement related topics. For 9 years, Lin owned and operated Square-U-Away, a professional organizing business, assisting small business owners in developing systems to stream line their business processes, financial reporting and managing their customer base. Lin’s previous positions were in the areas of marketing, advertising and sales working for ABC Television, ABC Radio Network and the Gannet Company. Lin brings her clients a diversified skill set along with the exprience of being a small business owner.
PTAC Procurement Specialist
Zacha joined the REDC Procurement Technical Assistance Center team as a Procurement Specialist, and has recently begun counseling clients. As Procurement Counselor she provides client support, manages social media and marketing, coordinates seminars, and assist clients through the process of government contracting. She has recently completed her CVE Verification Assistance Counselor certificate administered by the US Department of Veteran Affairs. Zacha’s prior experience includes being a Program Coordinator for a local organization, coordinating and expanding services offered to newly arrived immigrants in Rockland County and a Marketing Coordinator for a not-for-profit organization that supports inner city economic development through entrepreneurship.
